Finding a Family Therapy Service. Everyone lives for some or all their lives in some kind of a family. Many families rise to the challenges and complexity of life. They flourish without extra help. But it is not a surprise that some may find life difficult. Family Therapists are specially trained and experienced counselling professionals. But there are not many around in Scotland yet. My counsellor helped me work through some incredibly difficult issues, creating a safe space that allowed me to open up and unburden myself each week. It was the first time in my life that I had been able to openly discuss painful experiences in the past and it is a great testament to my counsellor that I was able to do this. I am much more confident about what I feel, think and want in life.

Changes to the Crèche in 2017 reduced services due to funding crisis. This year we had a significant cut in funding from the Council and have struggled to raise funds to meet our annual running costs. We are no longer able to continue to deliver the same services, therefore we need to reduce the crèche provision to 5 sessions a week, as of January 2017. We hope this will be a temporary measure until further funding is secured.
